Steven Jacob

Steven Jacob has worked for over ten years in Indochina and is familiar with the way business is done in the region. He is experienced in corporate and commercial matters and has liaised with government officials in multiple countries on behalf of his clients. He has worked across a spectrum of matters ranging from banking and energy to technology and M&A. 

Steven earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2008 and was certified to practice law before the California Bar Association in early 2009. He has since worked in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos and has advised on deals stretching from Macau to Singapore and Thailand to Hong Kong. 

Steven has published extensively on legal issues related to the region. He also is well versed in the history of Asia as he has a bachelor’s degree in both history and Asian studies. From his long experience and study of the region, he is a valuable asset to guide clients through the minefields of local law in Southeast Asia.
