- Negotiating and drafting MOUs, project development agreement, lease and BOT agreements with the Government of the Lao PDR, as well as PPAs, EPC contracts and related documents for hydropower developers and contractors
- Drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements between shareholder/joint venture parties and advising on optimal investment onshore and offshore structures
- Representing various parties in relation to contractual disputes
- Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, translating and notarising all project financing documentation, including loan, bond, security and escrow agreements
We have significant experience in project financing and have acted as Lao counsel for international law firms and lenders in relation to numerous large-scale projects located in the Lao PDR, including:
